Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an ENTRY LEVEL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to provide administrative support in our Chantilly, Virginia office.  Eligible candidates will have 1-3 years of experience in a professional work environment and familiarity with general administrative procedures.  Candidates must be self-starting, highly motivated professionals with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.  The ability to manage workload, responsibilities, prioritize tasks, resolve problems, and work well independently after brief explanation is essential.

 Responsibilities:
  • Reception/front desk duties to include answering phones, handling phone/network inquiries
  • Prepare, compose and proofread office correspondence
  • Word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint preparation
  • Prioritize and complete delegated tasks to ensure deadlines are met
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Scan and archive documents as needed
  • Prepare mail, distribute mail, arrange logistics i.e. FedEx, UPS, courier services
Qualificiations:
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in general office administration
  • Excellent written, oral communication, organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required
  • Experience with scheduling, planning, record keeping, and intermediate accounting knowledge preferred
  • Commitment to working 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (core hours) with flexibility for overtime as needed
