Environmental Permitting

Helping You Out Of The Permitting Weeds

Is my project feasible? What are the environmental constraints and challenges?   Are there federal, state or local permitting requirements to include in the development plan? Does any of this land have inherent value or benefits to the surrounding community to take into account with our project? AMT’s team can help you answer these questions and much more.

Cutting a Clear Path to Permitting

We will identify each constraint facing the development plan, and determine the environmental analysis and documentation necessary, to conduct studies with the best professional expertise and guidance, so that we can provide clear recommendations going forward.

We will help you plan, design and construct projects meeting all regulatory requirements by integrating our Permitting Team into every aspect of the site design.   This includes identifying environmental constraints that could cause problems in the permitting process, minimizing the impacts of the planned construction, and then mitigating those impacts to the extent of the legal requirements.  We do NEPA assessments and then delineate Waters of the United States by flagging, field sketches, notes collected by our professionals, and other pertinent information.  A jurisdictional determination and permit coordination will then include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the relevant environmental regulatory agencies. We are familiar with all of the permitting agencies and their requirements, and skilled at getting through the process efficiently.

In some cases, meeting requirements might also include recommending that your environmental mitigation costs go into meaningful solutions that create harmony between the built and natural environments.  This can be as simple as conserving open space or preserving natural areas to minimize project impacts, and as complex as the environmental restoration of abandoned sites.

With the AMT team of environmental professionals, working with planners, civil engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, and other technical staff, we will work closely together and provide solutions that meet all your needs.
