AMT landscape architectural services address multiple issues from aesthetics to maintenance to environmental sensitivity. AMT's landscape architects have completed numerous projects in both residential and commercial areas which have been landscaped and/or streetscaped to add to the quality of the surrounding environment. Ornamental plantings, street trees, hedges, and screening vegetation for buffers, as well as medians, sidewalks, crosswalks, and street furniture are components of the quality of the environment. Carefully planned landscaping visually softens building mass and adjacent land uses.

The team's landscape design provides a sense of continuity between different land uses and development. Plans are developed that define and provide defensive landscaping, provide walkways and open spaces and enhance land uses or redefine special areas such as intersections or development entrances. Streetscape designs provided take into account the plants which will do well under urban stresses, the deleterious effects of pollution and vandalism, and the importance, due to funding limitations in some jurisdictions, to choose materials that require a minimum of on-going care.
