AMT Project Qualifies for National Competition

AMT’s Stoney Creek at the National Institutes of Health project has recieved an Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Metro Washington. The project provided stormwater management for 204 previously untreated acres in downtown Bethesda, Maryland and part of the campus of the National Institutes of Health. The project not only effectively collects floating trash and treats the stormwater, but, with wildflower plantings and aerator fountains, the project also serves as a beautiful amenity. In winning this award, the project also qualifies for ACEC’s National Engineering Excellence Awards which will be given out at its national convention in April.
