AMT is leading the design and preparation of construction documents for the rehabilitation and widening of the existing four-span steel girder bridge. The project scope includes widening, deck and barrier replacement, bearing replacement, conversion to semi-integral abutments, and miscellaneous substructure rehabilitation. A Level II Traffic Management Plan will be required multiple traffic control phases will be required to maintain level of access. The two additional beams as well as an extension of the abutments and piers are anticipated.
AMT is responsible for full engineering design of the structure including; structural engineering, highway engineering, traffic control, right-of-way plans, and surveying.
