AMT Celebrates Murphy Tuomey Being Selected for the 2018 Ethel S. Birchland Award

AMT is pleased to announce that Murphy Tuomey, Principal/Senior Vice President, has received the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) Women Leaders Ethel S. Birchland Award.  The award, named after ARTBA’s executive director from the 1920’s, is awarded based upon “extraordinary efforts of individuals, companies and public agencies that have demonstrated leadership and dedication to innovation in the transportation construction field as well as the promotion of women leaders within the industry.”

Murphy is a highly regarded member of the transportation consulting community, and we are delighted that she is being recognized by ARTBA for her commitment and contribution to the industry. Her dedication and experience with AMT’s Construction Management and Inspection practice, and hands-on approach with contract coordination and management have set her apart in the industry” notes AMT President and CEO, Mike Wiercinski, P.E., L.S. 

Murphy is a Principal, Board Member, and Senior Vice President with AMT, with more than 30 years of leadership experience. She is the Principal-in-charge of AMT’s Construction Management and Inspection practice.
