AMT Joins Virginia Officials for Opening of Haymarket Park and Ride

AMT employees attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside VDOT, PRTC, and DRPT for a commuter lot in the Town of Haymarket.
Town of Haymarket, VA. – Three representatives of A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Park and Ride commuter lot in the Town of Haymarket, Virginia. The lot, located at the interchange of I-66 and Route 15, was constructed with the goal of shortening travel times, reducing congestion, and promoting multimodal transport on I-66. In addition to providing bus shelters, convenient storage for bicycles, and over 200 parking spots, the completion of the lot saw low impacts on the surrounding environment.
AMT, in partnership with Tavares Concrete Co. Inc., contributed architectural and engineering services as well as design coordination.
