AMT provided the design and preparation of construction documents for the rehabilitation of the existing two-span steel girder bridge. The project scope includes deck and barrier replacement, bearing replacement, conversion to semi-integral abutments, and miscellaneous substructure rehabilitation. A Level III Traffic Management Plan will be required during construction as this exit is one of the major entryways toward Morgantown and West Virginia University and will require multiple traffic control phases to maintain the required level of access.
AMT is responsible for full engineering design of the structure including; structural engineering, highway engineering, traffic control, right-of-way plans, and surveying.
