Kimi Schmidt Promoted to Associate: Water Resources Transportation Group Leader

AMT is also delighted to announce that Kimi Schmidt, PE, has been promoted to Associate. Kimi serves as the water resources division’s practice leader for transportation projects and has significant and diverse experience in all areas of hydrology and hydraulic engineering.

Kimi has over twenty-two years of experience designing and managing Water Resources projects for state and municipal clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic and the Carolinas. Her expertise includes H&H modeling, stormwater management, erosion control and drainage design for roadway and bridge projects. She performs reviews and staff augmentation for state DOT’s and has experience in watershed assessment/planning and stormwater retrofits for MS4/TMDL compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University. Kimi is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
