Matt Ernest Promoted to Vice President

Matt currently serves as a Director of our Site Civil business unit with oversight of federal, state, and utility clients. Matt has more than 25 years of experience and involving a diverse group of clients with focus on higher education, state, and federal agencies and institutions. Matt has proudly spent his entire career with AMT and has served in design, project management and leadership positions for more than 500 hundred projects totaling nearly $2 billion in construction cost. His notable projects include the $400 million United State Census Bureau Headquarters and the $200 million University of Maryland College Park Xfinity Center and North Campus Development. Matt currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Washington Post and is an LEED Accredited Professional. He received his BS in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh. Matt is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.
