David Krisnitski, PE, CFM Joins AMT

Christiansburg, VA – A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is pleased to announce that David A. Krisnitski, PE, CFM has joined AMT as a Senior Project Manager. In his role, David will continue his work in Dam Engineering across the Mid-Atlantic region and lead expansion efforts into neighboring states.
David brings 30 years of experience in managing and designing projects from Program-wide planning efforts to site specific design for transportation, industrial facilities and lately most prolifically in dam engineering. His focus is to make the best use of existing resources available at a project site to minimize disruption and construction costs while meeting the regulatory requirements and the project owner’s additional goals.
He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (VPI&SU) with a BS in Civil Engineering. He holds a Professional Engineer license in multiple states and is a Certified Floodplain Manager and member of ASDSO, ASFPM, and NALMS. He also volunteers his time and is an officer on the Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association Board. He is the VLWA Dams Committee chair and is excited about leading the VLWA sponsored Dam Owner Training classes.
