David Krisnitski Promoted to Associate

Dave serves as Dams Group Leader from AMT’s Christiansburg office. Dave has 32 years of engineering and project management experience and is an expert in the design, rehabilitation, and maintenance of dams. He previously served Facilities Engineer at the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (VDWR-formerly DGIF) and was the engineer in charge of the largest group of dams in the Commonwealth. He has been intimately involved in helping clients design and formulate repair strategies for earthen and concrete dams. His expertise has led to support in the performance of project management activities, the production of civil design plans, and the oversight of consultants and contractors on behalf of the project owners. Dave is a Professional Engineer in the states of Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Missouri as well as being a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1991. Dave is active with the Virginia Floodplain Management Association (VFMA).
