John Underwood Promoted to Senior Associate

John currently leads our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) practice in North Carolina. Under John’s leadership, AMT’s North Carolina CEI practice has grown substantially and he was instrumental in expansion of CEI to South Carolina.. John has been instrumental in our expansion of services to NCDOT and other local governments including the City of Charlotte. John is based in our Charlotte office and directs multiple NCDOT and municipal contracts involving CEI and asset management services. John has been with AMT for nine years and has 21 years of total experience, including prior service as a District Engineer with NCDOT in Division 10. John earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Additionally, he is active with ACEC-NC, the Charleston Chapter of SAME, and ACEC-SC.
