Jordan Howard Promoted to Director

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jordan Howard, PE, to the position of Director of Maryland Transportation. With 20 years of engineering experience, Jordan has been instrumental in the growth of AMT’s Transportation Division through her industry-leading technical acumen, mentoring of young professionals, and dedication to client service.

In her new role, Jordan will lead our Transportation Division including Maryland and the Washington DC Metropolitan area. She is passionate about Complete Streets initiatives and multimodal projects that aim to ensure safe access for all road users. Jordan has successfully managed on-call transportation contracts and major project specific contracts throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

AMT is extremely proud of Jordan’s recognition by the Baltimore Sun as one of 25 Women to Watch in 2024, honoring her impact and dedication to improving public roadway systems. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a licensed professional engineer in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Ohio, and is a member of the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP), WTS Baltimore Chapter, American Society of Highway Engineers, and the ACEC Maryland Transportation Committee.
