New Hire Announcement: Robert Williams, PE

With twenty-three (23) years of experience in the transportation design industry, Robert will serve as the Highways Group Lead for the Raleigh, NC office. Throughout his career, Robert’s expertise includes preliminary and final design of intersection improvements, highway interchanges, alternative alignment studies, rural and urban widening and new location projects, roundabouts, bridge replacement projects, turn lanes, bus transit stops as well as bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure design including greenways, multi-use paths, bike paths, and bike lanes. He has delivered projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), along with municipal and Locally Administered Project Program (LAPP) clients throughout North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. His experience also includes managing private sector projects and working with private developers.

Robert is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of North Carolina and Georgia. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University. Robert is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), WTS, and the North Carolina Local Users Group.
