Diamondback Drive 12” and 24” Water Mains
Montgomery County, MD
AMT designed and prepared contract documents (plans and specifications) for the construction of approximately 1,590 feet of 24-inch water main and 390 feet of 10 and 12inch water main. The design effort included locations of service and utilities, survey, replacement and relocation design, sequences of construction, thrust blocking and joint restraint calculations and sizing, hydrant and valve spacing, detailed County traffic control plans, corrosion design plans and structural design for a 24-inch valve vault unique to the project.
