Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Parking Garage

AMT provided civil engineering and surveying services for a 1,500-space Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Parking Garage, the focus of the Transit Oriented Development that adjoins the Strathmore Concert Hall and includes Grosvenor Village, Strathmore Park and Avalon at Grosvenor.
The project included structured and surface parking, roadway improvements, a pedestrian bridge connecting the parking with Strathmore Concert Hall, covered pedestrian connections to the Metro Station, internal vehicular circulation, kiss and ride facilities, Ride-On Transit Station, and extensive landscaping.
AMT worked closely with WMATA and Montgomery County to develop plans and pursue approvals for the project. AMT provided all surveying and civil engineering for the roadway and site improvements, storm water management, erosion and sediment control and worked closely with state and local planning and permitting agencies, including Maryland National Capital Parks and Planning Commission, Montgomery County Department of Public Works and Transportation, Montgomery County Department of Permitting Services, Maryland State Highway Administration, and WSSC, to secure approvals and permits.
