I-95/I-695 Interchange
Baltimore, MD
The Maryland Transportation Authority’s $208 million improvement project included constructing 12 bridges, rehabilitating two others, installing five noise barrier systems, paving 15 lane miles and reconstructing the interchange between I-95 and I-695 Baltimore’s north side.
AMT served as the construction manager on the award-winning I-95/I-695 Interchange reconstruction which was completed on time and on budget. The huge interchange connects Interstate 95 to the “Baltimore Beltway.” This was one of our largest construction management projects to date.
The project has been recognized nationally with a NPHQ Silver Award for Communications Initiatives and an American Concrete Institute Award for Excellence in Concrete Construction. It has also received regional recognition with several awards for construction excellence from the Maryland Quality Initiative.
