UMD Athletic Fields

AMT has enjoyed a decade-long relationship with the University of Maryland (UMD) to continually improve its athletic fields. We have worked with the university to construct the Comcast Center, practice fields of both natural and artificial turf, and we are now working to renovate Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.
As part of the University of Maryland’s ongoing efforts to maintain exceptional campus facilities, AMT has enjoyed a decade-long relationship with the university to continually improve its sports facilities. We have worked with the university to construct the Comcast Center, practice fields of both natural and artificial turf, field hockey and lacrosse stadium, and softball stadium, and we have just finished renovating the Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.
Because of the university’s all-encompassing sports programs, the design and construction of all the venues must be planned and scheduled for the different teams’ off seasons with deadlines that cannot be compromised. This entails working directly with the athletic department, university facility department and the contractor to guarantee on-time delivery for UMD athletic field projects.
