WVDOH US 340 Preliminary Investigation and Engineering Study Data Collection, Jefferson County, WV
Extensive traffic data collection efforts were conducted in support of the Traffic Operations Study and Design Study for spot improvements within the existing US 340 Corridor from Washington Street in Harpers Ferry to MD Route 67. Data collection efforts included approximately a dozen intersection turning movement counts (weekday and Saturday), multiple classification/speed mainline locations along US 340 to support the capacity/safety/design efforts, and all interchange ramps at the interchange of US 340/MD 67 in Maryland.
