WVDOT Van Voorhis Road PIE Study, Morgantown, WV
AMT performed a Preliminary Investigation & Engineering (PIE) study for roadway improvements and sidewalks in Morgantown. Project consists of right of way and construction plans for a portion of Van Voorhis Road as well as a preliminary study for the entire length of the project. An initial phase of the project includes a traffic operations study of existing and design year. The traffic study includes data collection, traffic forecasting, traffic analysis, crash analysis, crash diagrams, AASHTO left turn lane analysis, and evaluation of alternatives. A final traffic operations report is being compiled to summarize the findings of the project.
