William A. Farquhar Middle School

AMT provided civil engineering and landscape services for William H. Farquhar Middle School in Olney, Maryland.
The project constructed a new school which opened in August 2016 adjacent to the existing school. AMT provided construction plans, comprehensive permitting, environmental site design and sediment control, utilities, traffic control and construction phase services.
During permitting the Parks Department negotiated an interim park site into the project scope and AMT provided additional services to permit the project as a dual phase project, with the second phase including the demolition of the existing school and construction of a new interim park site for the community use.
