WVDOT Proctor Creek Road Bridge, Proctor, WV
AMT provided design, engineering, and related services for the replacement of the 3-span structure, approximately 230 feet in length, bridge carrying WV 2 over Proctor Creek with a single span structure.
The existing rural bridge is located along a curved horizontal alignment and carries two traffic lanes in each direction with a roadway width of approximately 56 feet. This includes four 12-foot traffic lanes and approximately a 4-foot raised median plus 2-foot shoulders, one on each side. The project involves bridge deck design, superstructure design, replacement of the substructure, roadway design plans to widen WV 2 to create a left turn lane at Proctor Creek Road, MOT, and hydraulic analysis.
