Richard Turner Promoted to Associate

Richard currently serves as the Director of Transportation in South Carolina where he manages both transportation design and construction engineering & inspection services statewide. His experience includes service to Charleston County in various leadership roles including as Deputy Director of Public Works, as well as prior experience with SCDOT serving as a Resident Engineer. Richard has broad engineering experience involving a wide array of transportation projects, including key expertise in pedestrian and bicycle initiatives. Richard is a Professional Engineer in South Carolina and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Richard is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and WTS South Carolina.
