Erosion & Sediment Control Plans

Erosion and sediment control plans are required for any construction project disturbing more than 5,000 square feet of land area or 100 cubic yards of earth movement. AMT has the ability to prepare everything from minor erosion control plans to detailed multi-phase erosion control plans such as stream restoration projects, regulated dams, and BMP retrofits that may require additional phases for clean water diversions during construction.

The erosion control plans will include all required plan views, details, standard notes, sequencing and temporary/final stabilization measures; and be in accordance with the local Ordinance, Standards and Specifications for Erosion and Sediment Control and Supplements.

Controls during construction will also need to be coordinated to meet the NPDES regulations for meeting TMDL requirements including any Turbidity requirements from the site. Designs often include a Stormwater Pollution and Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for environmental controls and assistance with the NPDES Construction General Permit (CGP) requirements for our projects.
