Gene Chabak Joins AMT

AMT is pleased to announce that Gene Chabak has joined the firm as a Senior Traffic Engineer. Chabak brings 26 years of experience with a focus on PennDOT and municipal projects across Pennsylvania and much of the mid-Atlantic region.

His experience includes traffic signal design, traffic modeling/simulation, road safety audits, ITS evaluations, MPT, trail design, and more, and his notable works include the I-81/SR 0465 Reconstruction project, five-year open-end engineering and planning contract for the Harrisburg area MPO (Tri-County Regional Planning Commission), Greenbelt Trail Association Design, and Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command Transportation Engineering Agency nationwide and overseas transportation engineering assessments.

Company President Mike Wiercinski noted Chabak’s comprehensive experience, “Gene offers expertise not only in traffic engineering, but in transportation planning and policy, and community planning. It is a valuable collection of skills that expands our talents in Pennsylvania.”
