AMT is pleased to announce that John Boryschuk, P.E., has been named Director of Water and Wastewater Services. Boryschuk brings 38 years of experience in all phases of water and wastewater planning, design, and construction projects.
He has previously served as Director of Utilities for the City of Fairfax Departments, Interim Director of Public Utilities and public Works for Caroline County, and as a Supervisor of the Developer Engineering Review section at DC Water.
Boryschuk has worked on such notable D.C. projects as the U.S. Coast Guard facility and Washington Wizards training facilities at St. Elizabeth’s East and the DC United stadium at Buzzard Point. He has also designed three new elevated storage tanks ranging from one to three million gallons for the Prince William County Service Authority.
Vice President Jerry Kavadias noted Boryschuk’s deep experience, “John brings experience and management skills that will expand our water and wastewater practice, both geographically and in our service offerings.”
He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Drexel University and a Master’s Certificate in project management from George Washington University. He is a professional engineer registered in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
